The mission of Brian Gibbons Homeless Outreach is to locate, engage, and support the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in the Greater Waterbury area in an effort to make appropriate referrals that lead to affordable and safe housing.

The Department of Housing (DOH) strengthens and revitalizes communities by promoting affordable housing opportunities. DOH seeks to eliminate homelessness and to catalyze the creation and preservation of quality, affordable housing to meet the needs of all individuals and families statewide to ensure that Connecticut continues to be a great place to live and work.

At its core, the NRWIB is a connector between job seekers and employers, aiming to address the evolving demands of the labor market. It operates within the framework of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which emphasizes the importance of collaboration among various stakeholders to enhance the workforce system's effectiveness.

MCCA’s mission is to provide HELP and instill HOPE for individuals, families and organizations working to overcome and prevent addictions.

Our vision is to be the premier prevention and treatment organization in Western Connecticut by providing state-of-the-art programs designed to achieve measurable results that bring value to customers and partners.

The mission of the YMCA is to build a healthy spirit, mind and body, in children and adults, through programs that foster caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Y works to provide opportunities for kids and families and to help them develop strong bodies, sharper minds and hopeful spirits. From Homeless Shelter & affordable Housing, to Food insecurity,  to supporting struggling youth, the Y answers the call to find solutions.

The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT) is a nonprofit organization that provides survivors of human trafficking a pathway toward healing and independence through community outreach, residential recovery, and economic empowerment.

We offer a Safe Haven for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing free, confidential services in a safe, caring environment; striving to raise awareness through community education and outreach. Our support, counseling and advocacy restores hope and helps people reclaim their lives.

St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.: "Through our network of services, we aid, support and empower people experiencing poverty, homelessness, hunger, and mental health challenges so they may recover with dignity and develop sustainable solutions for a brighter future."

At St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services, we take pride in our work with you, your family, and our community. We strive to help you achieve positive outcomes through evaluation, treatment and support.

The Housing Authority of the City of Waterbury (WHA) was founded in 1953 to provide affordable housing in Waterbury for families who lack the means to purchase or rent housing at market prices. WHA’s mission is to achieve excellence in the housing industry by providing housing opportunities and customer satisfaction to enhance the quality of life for very-low, low and moderate-income residents.

Waterbury Youth Services (WYS), the authorized Youth Service Bureau in the Greater Waterbury area, helps youth learn the skills they need to be more successful at home, in school and throughout the community. As a community-based agency, WYS responds to the needs of children, youth and their families, through a variety of programs which enhance their quality of life.

The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging enriches the lives of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers by providing support, services, and information to help them live well with assurance, independence and dignity.

The Western Connecticut Mental Health Network (WCMHN) was formed in 1996 by the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), in order to coordinate clinical, fiscal and administrative oversight of Region 5 contracted and state-operated mental health services. Within this service system, there are three state-operated Local Mental Health Authorities, which are located in Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington. In partnership with the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network they provide and coordinate local clinical services.
