Opening Doors Initiative operates through a collective impact model. We collaborate with and coordinate among an extensive network of partners to work toward a common goal: ending homelessness.
The mission of Brian Gibbons Homeless Outreach is to locate, engage, and support the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in the Greater Waterbury area in an effort to make appropriate referrals that lead to affordable and safe housing.

The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT) is a nonprofit organization that provides survivors of human trafficking a pathway toward healing and independence through community outreach, residential recovery, and economic empowerment.
We offer a Safe Haven for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing free, confidential services in a safe, caring environment; striving to raise awareness through community education and outreach. Our support, counseling and advocacy restores hope and helps people reclaim their lives.

Waterbury Youth Services (WYS), the authorized Youth Service Bureau in the Greater Waterbury area, helps youth learn the skills they need to be more successful at home, in school and throughout the community. The Western Connecticut Mental Health Network (WCMHN) was formed in 1996 by the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), in order to coordinate clinical, fiscal and administrative oversight of Region 5 contracted and state-operated mental health services. Within this service system, there are three state-operated Local Mental Health Authorities, which are located in Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington. In partnership with the Western Connecticut Mental Health Network they provide and coordinate local clinical services.
