The Alpha Community Services YMCA, a Bridgeport area pioneer in providing services dedicated to the homeless, has been a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA since 1992. The Authority's mission, in support of the City of Danbury, is to provide for safe, affordable and decent housing within the City of Danbury. The Authority manages seven communities totaling approximately 900 apartment units. Of the seven communities, four are located in the downtown area, five of the communities are family developments and four are senior/disabled developments.

Celebrating its 80th year, the Human Services Council (HSC) is a beacon of hope and support based in Norwalk, CT. Today, our five core programs identify and address critical issues – homelessness, senior living, child abuse, substance abuse, education, and the mental and physical health of children.

Founded in 1879, Inspirica Inc. is one of the largest providers of housing and support services in the state of Connecticut and the largest in Fairfield County. By serving those most in need, including families, women, those living with mental illness, HIV/AIDS, and individuals coping with substance use disorders, Inspirica is dedicated to the betterment of the Fairfield County community.

While our primary catchment area is Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Newtown, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Weston, Westport, Wilton, and the Greater Bridgeport area, Kids In Crisis services are available to anyone in Connecticut.

We have the only emergency shelter for kids in the state that: Serves newborns to 18-year-olds, Accepts children referred by concerned community members, Accepts children of any gender or gender identity, Has an onsite Health Clinic.

Laurel House provides mental health resources to people coping with mental illness, and their families, across numerous communities in and around Connecticut. Resources to Recover is a robust array of integrated services and expertise helping people along the path of mental health recovery.

Liberation Programs is one of Fairfield County’s leading behavioral health organizations specializing in treatment for all types of substance use disorders including alcohol, opiates, depressants, and stimulants. Our goal is to help individuals and families overcome addiction to restore their lives and ultimately strengthen our communities.

Our mission is clear: Pacific House is committed to providing a safe overnight shelter for men and young adults who are homeless. We pair this with a wide range of support services to assist both men and women (via our day program only) achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency so that they might lead more fulfilling lives.

Park City Communities plays a critical role in Bridgeport by helping families who need affordable housing choices. We manage nearly 2,600 public housing equivalent units and 2,800 Section 8 vouchers, and are committed to developing new housing opportunities to meet the growing need.

The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT) is a nonprofit organization that provides survivors of human trafficking a pathway toward healing and independence through community outreach, residential recovery, and economic empowerment.
