Kathleen Krider
Kathleen is a community engagement and program development leader with more than 15 years of experience building partnerships, managing mission-driven programs, and strengthening nonprofit initiatives that serve local communities. She joins the Center for Housing Opportunity Eastern Connecticut (CHO-EC) after serving as Senior Director of Community Engagement and Resource Management at Access Community Action Agency, where she led strategic partnerships, grant development, communications, and major community initiatives.
Throughout her career, Kathleen has worked at the intersection of community engagement, program development, and regional collaboration. She has directed grant-funded initiatives, overseen major programs, including housing, education, and employment services, and helped organizations expand their impact through strong partnerships with municipalities, nonprofits, and regional stakeholders.
Kathleen has also been deeply involved in civic leadership across Eastern Connecticut, serving on multiple nonprofit boards and currently serving as a Justice of the Peace and member of the Coventry Planning and Zoning Commission. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut.
