Debra Holbrooks

With a vast and diverse financial background at for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, Debra learned that mission-driven not-for-profit organizations were her passion. Providing leadership, financial expertise, business acumen, and a strategic vision to growing organizations generated a satisfaction and dedication unfound in other industries. 

Debra’s life mission is to transform ideas and opportunities into actionable and achievable goals and strategies that serve the community and those in need. Debra specializes in creating collaborative environments that have strong financial systems and internal controls; manages and limits risk; and strategically grows organizations and their impact in the community. 

Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT Debra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, Storrs. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT. In her spare time, Debra is an avid tennis fan with the goal of attending the four Grand Slam events on the ATP and WTA tour. She is also a huge fan of music and live concerts and is a water lover where she enjoys boating, swimming and fishing.
